What Train for the Job is
Train for the Job provides practice pre-employment cognitive assessments, a personality-test practice tool, and career guides, for the purpose of helping jobseekers prepare for real hiring processes.
Practicing here does not guarantee any particular result on a real employer's assessment, an interview outcome, or a job offer. Our questions are original and independently generated — they are not drawn from, affiliated with, or endorsed by any specific employer or test publisher.
Your account
You need an account for most features beyond the free demo. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
One Access subscription
One Access is billed monthly or annually in advance, and renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard — you keep access through the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and you will not be charged again after that.
Fees are generally non-refundable, except where required by applicable law. If you are an EU consumer, please see the section below on your right of withdrawal for online purchases.
Right of withdrawal (EU/EEA consumers). Under EU consumer law, you would normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase without giving a reason. Because One Access gives you immediate access to digital content and starts delivering it as soon as your payment is confirmed, by subscribing you expressly request that we begin immediately and you acknowledge that your right of withdrawal is lost once that access has begun.
Acceptable use
Using the service, you agree not to:
- Scrape, copy, or redistribute our question bank or generated content
- Attempt to circumvent free-tier limits, paywalls, or rate limits
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that disrupts it for other users
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the underlying question-generation logic
Intellectual property
The questions, explanations, guides, illustrations, and other content on Train for the Job belong to us or our licensors. You may use them for your own personal job-search preparation. You may not republish, resell, or redistribute them.
Disclaimer
The service is provided "as is." We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not guarantee it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any question, explanation, or personality-test result is free of mistakes. If you spot one, please flag it — we review reported items and fix them.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Train for the Job is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including any hiring outcome. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Termination
You can stop using the service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product changes. We will update the date at the top of this page when we do, and for material changes we will make that clear on the site.
